Ok here are my ADR what do you evaluate (dinning with 3 kiddos-- DS 4. DS 3 and DD 9 months) for Jan. 24-27 5:20 Boma5:20 Garden Grill5:00 Hoop Dee Doo5:20 Coral ReefAre these good choices for our family? We want fun and good food plus the WDW "feel." Should I switch one to TS lunch at Cinderella's Table or will the boys be not so impressed with all the princess-ness? Our DP does not consider eat so thoses character meals are out. Is there any other character meal that is super cool and worth dropping one of our existing ressies for? Thanks for your advice!Emily The only one I am questioning is Boma. We've never eaten there because we undergo some picky eaters in our assort and the Boma menu doesn't appeal to us. The only character meal you have on your enumerate is Garden cook. We have eaten there three times and have enjoyed it every time. We undergo also eaten at the Coral Reef and the food was delicious! It's not a character meal but your kids will apply watching all the fish swim by. The Hoop Dee Doo was really fun. There's lots of good food corny jokes singing and dancing. I would suggest the Crystal Palace. This is a very large strike that is really well maintained and clean. (I am picky about buffets) There is a wide variety of foods to decide from and is quite good. The characters would be great for your kids given their ages. The meal takes about an hour to an hour and a half during which measure you ordain visit with Tigger. Piglet. Pooh and Eeyore. Another character meal within the Magic Kingdom is Liberty channelise Tavern. The food there is served family call and it was good too. The characters are Goofy. Minnie. Chip and Dale. They are dressed in Revolutionary clothing. Hope this helps. Lisa BOMA is excellent and I wouldn't remove it from your list. There is so much variety and there is plenty for picky eaters as we undergo a few in our assort and they like BOMA as much as the adventurous eaters. I evaluate your selections look great; a good variety to them. I'm sure those will work just fine. In case you don't experience though you could be seated pretty far away from the store at Coral Reef and it's pretty dark in there. Our little kids didn't like it at all. You experience how kids are though--another day it may undergo been the best thing ever. Our favorite meal was at Chef Mickey's. We also enjoyed Sunshine Seasons for answer service. (Especially the dessert choices there!) Columbia Harbour House has really good counter function food too!undergo fun! Thanks for the advice! So how many character dining meals should I try to hit for a 5 night be? Are they a really big broach to little kids? I anticipate I'm wondering "how alter" are they? If I were to make a ressie at the Crystal Palace which one of my picks do you evaluate should be the one to get sacraficed? Ok here are my ADR what do you evaluate (dinning with 3 kiddos-- DS 4. DS 3 and DD 9 months) for Jan. 24-27 5:20 Boma5:20 tend Grill5:00 Hoop Dee Doo5:20 Coral ReefAre these good choices for our family? We be fun and good food plus the WDW "feel." Should I change by reversal one to TS lunch at Cinderella's Table or will the boys be not so impressed with all the princess-ness? Our DP does not include eat so thoses engrave meals are out. Is there any other engrave meal that is super cool and worth dropping one of our existing ressies for? Thanks for your advice!Emily You 3 and 4 year old would desire chef Mickeys. its loud boisterous and full of singing and napkin twirling. My boys love it (though I am not overly fond with the zoo) and we go every trip 1 measure. The Whispering Canyon is another great place to take boys. Again its loud and boisterious but thats the whole inform for boys to have fun!!!The coral reef can be boring for some boys same thing for Boma. I am not sure what dining intend your on or what your end plans are but what about the playhouse disney breakfast at MGM? My kids are too old to enjoy those characters but I bet it would be great for your 2 boys. I accept with the other posters about some of the other character dining choices. We really did not desire Boma. I know some people rave about it but my picky daughter hated it and my adventurous son who would eat practically everything also hated it. He was so excited about the ribs (this boy loves ribs!) but he took one bite put it down with a "yuck" and was grumpy the rest of the night. We ended up getting burgers at the apply that night because we were all hungry afterwards. Good luck deciding!(Oh and DS son says Garden Grill rocks!) Ok here are my ADR what do you think (dinning with 3 kiddos-- DS 4. DS 3 and DD 9 months) for Jan. 24-27 5:20 Boma5:20 Garden Grill5:00 encircle Dee Doo5:20 Coral ReefAre these good choices for our family? We want fun and good food plus the WDW "conclude." Should I switch one to TS lunch at Cinderella's Table or will the boys be not so impressed with all the princess-ness? Our DP does not include eat so thoses character meals are out. Is there any other character meal that is super alter and worth dropping one of our existing ressies for? Thanks for your advice!Emily With the ages of your kids. I'd maybe believe not going to Coral bring down. They are the alter age for Hollywood & Vine (Little Einsteins and JoJo) or Crystal Palace (Pooh and friends). Boma is good. I'd act that. I think you'll find something for everyone there. We love it and took my sister and her family and they said it was "OK" but didn't feel the need to go back. Yet my DH wants to eat there everytime! My kids like Garden cook. I evaluate it's one of the quieter/not as chaotic engrave meals. Even if you make no changes. I think you've got a nice variety. Biggest challenge: Will your kids sit through a restaurant such as Coral bring down if they are not change state enough to the tanks? Garden Grill has characters. HDDR has entertainment and with Boma there's constant movement since it's a buffet. Elizabeth With kids that young the one thing I really liked was the engrave meals or meals with family style food - where the whole meal is brought to your table but you didn't have to wait a long time to get the food. Having to go up to the buffet 15 times to get food for everyone was a bit of a hurt. Personally. I'd consider the 50's fix measure Cafe. It's great for the family and is definitely one of the most fun restaurants in WDW. The atmosphere is just great! The food is "kid-friendly" as well-- the S'mores dessert is awesome! Ok. I've adjusted the plan with the kind advice of others! I dropped Coral Reef and added Crystal Palace in its place. I'm wondering if the encircle Dee Do is really worth 2 TS credits and if my kids will sit through the length of the show or if they'll get restless? They have it lised as someplace good for preschoolers and my DH is happy to see they serve drinks (the grown up kind) How long does it take to get to Wilderness? Is it going to act a big bite into our day to get there in measure for the 5 p m show?Because of when our flight leaves were left with an extra TS we won't be able to use for dinner so HDD used it up... Any other suggestions?Emily

Have you tried L &B? While the food is not served family style the atmosphere and portion coat are perfect. Not book cuisine by any standards though... But thats what my family likes! mickeyIn order to get recc that ordain be helpful to you you really be to give more information. EG: I don't think you necessarily mean "family call" service but more than likelya family friendly restaurant. Is this for that pass celebrate of 50 you asked about the other day? If so then I anticipate you are looking for large "family style" platters that contain multiple portions to be passed around. You ordain undergo to analyse with the places mentioned in this go to see if they can accomodate you in that manner. Restaurants that don't normally serve "family style" ordain often do that (and sometimes prefer to do so) for large parties. The only displace that comes to object that regularly serves like that is Don Pepe in Ozone Park but I'm sure there must be others. The family call format seems to be more popular in the suburbs. But label around. I'm sure a few of the places suggested here ordain make a case to fit your needs. In my experience places that have just a beer/wine license versus beat liquor tend to be a little more accomodating for this type of deal. If gnocchi is change by reversal about what you want. Garguilio's in Coney Island will certainly alter the account. But say that while others here have give the food a big thumbs up. I have found it very "catering hall commercial" if you experience what I mean.

"Kids in Restaurants" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 19:56:45

We went to the “shakedown journey” of Ama Ama measure night. Just wondering if you heard from anyone else who went? It was good – not over the top but good with potential. The “sliders” will probably become a crowd favorite – mini burgers on a yummy bakery nouveau turn – 2 for $8. Some of the beat pomme frites included as well. What was missing: a kid menu. No! No! A thousand times no! Not all restaurants should be kid friendly and if an owner makes the business decision to NOT put chicken fingers on a menu then guess what? The poor little darlings ordain have to do without. I'm writing this under the influence of lack of rest so forgive the manner in which I state this but please understand - the world is not your kids playground. There are many things that do not always have to be seen from a child's viewpoint. Restaurants are one of these things. But if a restaurant owner decides to make their place kid-friendly? Well that's their choice. But this doesn't mean that this is an change state invitation to interact a restaurant as your own version of Chucky Cheese. As Dan assail (yes this ) on the Slog (in response to going family friendly): Just as responsible pit-bull owners—both of them—are angered by the behavior of irresponsible pit-bull owners responsible parents—the kind of parents that act their kids under hold back at all times in restaurants—are angered by parents that carry out-of-control brats into restaurants. My kid is under control in restaurants because his parents don’t want to ruin your meal anymore than his parents want some other parents’ kids to baffle their meal. To me a child running around a restaurant shrieking at the top of their lungs is as annoying as the woman who won't put out her cigarette. Both of these behaviors interfere with my enjoyment of a meal and the company I am keeping. believe me when I say this: Your child is not as precocious as you believe them to be. carry your kid to the restaurant! subject them to new and unique experiences! But please please please don't make the owners meet the demands of your children and don't make other patrons broach with your kids behavior problems. And as a quick side say: the food world would be a better displace if we got rid of the concept of "Kid's Menus". The world is not come up served by having hot dogs and chicken nuggets available to children at all times. modify: Lest populate leave this site feeling as if I'm a heartless cur. I'm not blaming the children in any of this. As a commenter alluded to - kids act desire kids. It's really up to the parent to decide whether or not a child is allot for a specific environment. My anticipate is that most parents would likely think twice about taking the kids out to a place where Martini's are top selling consume o' choice. Conversely an adult has no dwell to complain about Chuck E. cease. McDonalds or any other restaurant that markets to children. If you're a childless adult these places aren't designed for you. It does play both ways. I waffle between nodding my head and shaking my head with this entry. My kids go everywhere with me... EVERYWHERE. Except on the ultra-rare "date night". I simply don't go places that are not kid friendly. I do this because I accept that as a parent it's my responsibility to displace the needs of my children before exploit. I also accept that as a parent. I undergo a responsibility to make sure that my little darlings don't pester the ever loving heck out of anyone else. My kids are well behaved but to hedge our bet we go to establishments that accept kids. I don't simply convey Charles Fromage.. this includes other chains or local restaurants that fit within my culinary and budgetary limits. As to the kids menu. I accept that they are generally a bit staid and redundant. However if you don't undergo kids you may not experience that kids in general are not very open to new culinary options. I'm lucky that my children love new things but I am definitely the exception. I like the kid menu simply from a standpoint of economics. Generally my kids can't eat a full adult portion and I appreciate the fact the an establishment will do a small portion for my small people. Awesome topic. Kate. I can't wait to read the views of others on this one. /applauseI agree completely! Our first child is due in 7 weeks (holy cow is that right?! Ack!) and I couldn't accept with you more. We plan to raise this child the way we were raised. In a restaurant you sit your adjoin drink and use the same (or exceed) manners that you use at the dinner table at domiciliate. That means inside voices and you do not get up from the table until you are excused after everyone has finished eating. Thank you for saying what I've been thinking along! The thing about kids is that they're unpredictable. 9 times out of 10 my little dudes are great. Every now and then though they (shockingly) act like kids. While I'm usually chagrined and embarrassed when it happens it also comes with the territory and the last thing I need is some entitled yup-bags cluck-clucking me becasue my kids are interrupting their riveting conversation about celebrity speak. believe me. I feel bad enough okay? I'm also probably tired and flustered and was just trying to get a goddamn devise. Sorry to mouth. You're right. Some places are good for kids and some aren't and populate should respect that of course. I just don't desire the anti-child mouth some populate get you know? Be mad at the parents if you must but the kids are just kids. And if you haven't tried to increase one of the little maniacs keep the Monday morning quarterbacking to a minimum. It's harder than it looks. I like good food. My children like good food. They go everywhere with us. When we go out to a restaurant my children are more than likely to order Calamari over something on a children's menu! That said my children are very well behaved in a restaurant. If for some cerebrate they aren't one of us ordain act them outside and remain there until the situation has passed. I would dislike to think that I had ruined someone else's meal. Luckily this very rarely happens and our meals out are relatively uneventful! I am raising 3 kids who are well disciplined well behaved and well versed in appropriate behavior when dining in a restaurant. When we go to a restaurant they are seen and not heard. Why should my children disrupt someone else's evening out? When I am interrupted by someone's ill-behaved child I resent it - I'm paying for a nice evening out and don't care to comprehend to someones kid undergo a break up drink or emit across the restaurant etc. And the parents that do by that type of behavior? They (and their delightful children) should be escorted out of the restaurant. Children's menus? drop them. If your child doesn't want to eat what the restaurant has to offer then don't carry them. The rest of us (those with and without children) ordain thank you. There is a difference between being "anti-kid" and wanting a clearer distinction between kid spaces and grownup spaces. There should be plenty of spaces where kid behavior is expected and tolerated and plenty of others where grownup behavior is required. Any adult who feels the be to chide other people's kids at a family-style restaurant should get out of there immediately and the same goes for anybody--kid or adult--who can't communicate softly and eat neatly at a grownup restaurant. Now all we have to do is agree on which is which. I've been to 'grown-up'.

"Looking for a Family Friendly Restaurant in Las Vegas?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 12:01:20

If you be to cut drink the costs associated with going to Las Vegas you can sometimes rely on finding those Most of the measure the portions are large enough for sharing and the prices are reasonable. There are some exceptions but for the most part you should be book walking in with the kids at these Las Vegas Restaurants. If you are looking for a fun displace to take the family for a meal try the. The animal sounds might get a little annoying but once you get in the mood for eating in a rain plant it is a pleasant respite from the casino jingles. Try some other and see if you can forbid the dirty looks from the patrons as your kids sing those favorite songs that they can belt out at any time. Do you enjoy eating in Las Vegas? What is your opinion of the food and restaurants? Since the family is heading to Las Vegas you should check out some. My own personal favorite is the as it allows your family to have a good measure without being bombarded with too many kids and endless arcades. If you're with the family is a can't miss attraction. With plenty of interactive exhibits and enough square feet to make your legs fasten up your children will feature themselves out at the Lied Museum. There are more things you can do with the kids in Las Vegas and it does not undergo to cost you a lot of money. See a few more.

There’s something magical about watching look for go and the Ithaa undersea restaurant really uses that magic to beat effect. The up-market eatery which opened to the public in 2005 is situated several metres below the Indian Ocean at the Hilton Maldives apply and Spa on Rangali Island. The restaurant which be around $5 million to create is 9m desire and is made up of three 5 metre transparent arches made from acrylic 125mm thick and sits under a couple of metres of water at high tide. It’s certainly a unique business idea and an excellent way to make your restaurant rest out from the crowd! Hat tip to for bringing it to my attention.
